With the rapid development of science and technology, oxygen, nitrogen, argon and other industrial gases are being widely applied in industry and national defense and their demands have been greatly increased. Hence, newer and higher requirements have been laid on the large and medium sized air separation plants.

In recent years, on the basis of introducing and absorbing the advanced international technology, we blaze new trails and have obtained advanced and reliable technologies eth strong characters. In the production of large and medium sized air separation plants, we have made eye-catching progress. We have successfully researched and developed the new generation of 30000Nm3/h air separation plants of external-compression or internal-compression process with molecular sieve purification system, turbo-expander unit structural packing rectification column and argon production without hydrogen.

After being operated by a number of users, these plants have been proved to be advanced, reliable and stable. We have been repeatedly well reviewed by the superior authorities and the users, The 3350Nm3/h air separation plant has been awarded the economical &technological development prize, third class prize of mechanic industry achievement and energy saving product and the large & medium sized air separation plants have been awarded the title Famous Product in Sichuan Province.

In the 1990s, our technology developed with a high speed and we successfully developed the fifth generation of air separation plants with the process of compressor-braked turbo-expander and molecular sieve purification system. We successively produced the fifth generation of air separation plants with a capacity ranging from 1000Nm3/h~ 12000Nm3/h which have been in successful operation.

After this, we succeeded in the transforming the fifth generation of air separation plants into the sixth generation of air separation plants with the process of structural packing column and argon production without hydrogen. We have applied the sixth generation of air separation technology in the fabrication of dozens of sets of air separation plants with a capacity ranging from 3200Nm3/h~ 28000Nm3/h, among which the large-sized air separation plants with an oxygen recovery rate of above 99.

4%, and an argon recovery rate up to more than 80% has reached the advanced level in China.

After entering the 21a century, we have constructed dozens of air separation pants with the internal compression process and with the capacities of 8000Nm3/h, 10000Nm3/h, and 28000Nm3/h. The air separation plants with oxygen pressure booster and with the capacities of 3200Nm3/h and 10000Nm3/h mark the new breakthrough in the internal compression process.
